Bellare GIS Consultancy: The Guiding Light for Geospatial Technology

CIO Vendor Geospatial technology is rendering help across various sectors in India. The key to its usage lies in data acquisition and visualisation. Though it's not in an advanced stage of implementation in most sectors, the applications of it has definitely found new implementations in the recent times. Availability of real-time/updated information about assets and consumers is a key driver that facilitates the usage of geospatial data and technologies.

Bellare GIS Consultancy was founded in 2018 to serve the society in the field of spatial information system. It has advanced infrastructure and sound technical expertise in the field of Remote Sensing (RS), Geographical Information System (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) technologies. The company aims at strengthening R&D in specifically identified areas to demonstrate the application of geospatial techniques for efficient planning.

The company has been awarded the Runners Up in Elevate 2019 and 2020 state level event organised by Karnataka Start up department of IT BT, Government of Karnataka. Furthermore, its GeoInformatics Research Centre is constantly in the process of executing R & D programmes for the benefit of the society using Geomatics technology.

“With these objectives in mind and to provide initial thrust to create awareness among different stake holders about potential of this technology as a rewarding and satisfying career option, this company proposes and conducts industry oriented courses in the field of Geospatial Technology mainly for students/faculty of colleges/universities,” states Naveenchandra Bellare, Director, Bellare GIS Consultancy.

Mission Statement

GIS Education for the Youth
Despite the recognition that geospatial solutions can help India grow at a fast pace and solve many problems related to man-made and natural resources of country, an educational system that can support geospatial technology application by churning out quality professionals, is not adequately developed. Barring a few places, the education in geospatial technology has not been a thrust area in India. This leaves a vacuum in terms of skilled workers and term and long-term physical processes that affect our living environment.

The company has started Bhoomi Institute of GeoInformatics (BIG) in 2019 and Bhoomi Institute of Geo-Informatics offers a wide range of training options to expand knowledge on satellite remote sensing, GIS and GPS. Speaking about the education rendered by the institute, the Director concludes, “We organize special training events in the areas of high skill requirement. Classroom instructions are available at our centres for the users of remote sensing/GIS/GPS/ digital image processing and their applications. The syllabus is designed from GIS basics to advanced trainings to match the latest requirements of companies in order to attain an excellent placement rate.”
